About Unknown Colorado
Hi, there. My name is Jesse Sumrak, and I'm sick and tired of overcrowded trails.
Colorado is a vast playground with over 39,000 miles of (mapped) trails. There’s no reason you should miss out on the fun because you can’t find a parking spot or need to wait in a conga line to make it up the trail.
Yet, that’s the reality.
Unknown Colorado seeks to change that. There are plenty of outdoor hidden gems that many (locals included) have no idea exist. Go out there. Find them. It’ll help you discover Colorado’s most extraordinary peaks, trails, rivers, waterfalls, and more—and it’ll also help equalize traffic across the state and make every trail more accessible.
That’s the goal, at least.
